Request account deletion
You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data in the app or by email. You do not need to reinstall the app to send an email request.
In the app
Open account settings and choose account deletion. You will be asked to verify your account and review the effect on any families you own before confirming.
Request by email
Write to us from the email address registered to your account, or include that address so we can help verify ownership. State that you want your account and associated personal data deleted, and add any relevant details about access problems.
This opens your email app with a draft. Review it and send it yourself; opening the draft does not submit a request.
Verifying your request
We need to verify that the request concerns your account before taking action. We may contact you through the registered email address; do not send your password, one-time codes, payment card details or an original identity document.
What deletion affects
Deletion removes your sign-in account and personal cloud records, including your private backup, profile and saved birthday information. Families you own are deleted, which affects other members who use those shared family records.
What may remain
Shared history in families owned by others may remain after account references are removed or replaced. Limited security, anti-abuse and benefit-verification records may also remain where needed; deletion is a process, not an immediate erasure of every platform record or backup.
After you request deletion
Processing depends on verifying account ownership and the shared records involved. If more information is needed, we may contact you using the registered address.
Your device and subscription
An email request cannot erase copies stored on your devices or files you exported. Manage those copies locally, and manage or cancel any subscription separately in Google Play; removing app data or deleting an account does not itself cancel the subscription.
