Privacy policy

Yawmana is operated by Eleven Capital Limited, Hong Kong. This policy explains how we handle information when you manage your household, create an account or choose online features. You can contact us at info@elevencapital.ltd.

On your device

Your homes, rooms, tasks, completion history, plans, personal member notes and preferences are stored on your device by default, with separate local spaces for signed-out use and each account. Local reminders are handled on your device. Signing in alone does not publish this content to your family or enable private cloud backup.

Your account and profile

If you create an account or sign in, Firebase Authentication processes your email address, account identifier, verification status and sign-in credentials; Google sign-in also uses your Google account identity. Your chosen display name can be visible to eligible members of your family. If you choose an avatar, the app crops, resizes and re-encodes the selected picture before upload; this feature does not upload the original image.

Family collaboration

When you create or join a shared family and publish or change shared content, we process membership, invitations, room and task details, assignments, schedules, completion records and the identifiers needed to keep changes in sync. Shared tasks and completion records are available to authorized family members. Negotiation proposals, replies and their notes are available to the participating pair, while personal notes you keep about members are private and are not published to the family.

Private cloud backup

Private cloud backup is optional and is off by default; if you enable it, your account stores a private copy of your local household data, history, plans and personal member notes for backup and restoration on another device. Family membership does not give other members access to this backup. Device display preferences and reminder switches remain separate, and pausing backup stops further automatic uploads without deleting the existing cloud copy. You can delete the private cloud backup separately in backup settings; this turns off automatic backup and keeps the data on your phone.

Purchases and rewards

Google Play handles payments, and we do not receive your payment card number. To verify purchases, restore access and manage subscription or reward eligibility, we process purchase tokens, transaction and product information, account identifiers, verification results and entitlement dates. If you use referrals or family rewards, we also process the invitation relationship, qualifying activity and reward records to provide the benefit and prevent repeated or fraudulent claims.

Optional birthday

You may choose to register your birthday month and day, with the year optional, together with a birthday notification preference. We use this information for the birthday feature and associated eligibility, not for advertising, and do not publish it to family members. You can delete the birthday date and turn off its notifications; a limited registration record may remain to prevent repeated claims until account deletion.

Notifications

Local task reminders and shared-message push notifications are optional, and you can control notification permissions in Android settings. If you enable shared-message notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging and our service process a push token, an installation identifier, account information and delivery records to send messages to the correct device. Push messages carry routing identifiers, while the app obtains the relevant task or proposal details for display; notifications may be visible on your lock screen according to your device settings.

Service providers and security

We use Google services, including Firebase, Google Play and Play Integrity, to provide accounts, storage, messaging, purchase verification and protection against abuse. These services may process IP addresses, installation or device identifiers, app information and security signals needed to operate and protect the service. We use encrypted connections and access controls, but cloud content is not end-to-end encrypted. We do not sell personal data, show advertising or use your household content for advertising profiles.

Retention and deletion

We keep information while it is needed for the features you use, account administration, security and verification of benefits. Account deletion removes your authentication account and personal cloud records and removes families you own, while shared household history belonging to others may remain with identifying references removed or replaced. Limited deletion markers, anti-abuse records and records protecting earned benefits may remain where needed. Deletion involves processing and is not an immediate erasure of every copy, platform record or backup.

Your choices

Yawmana is designed for adults managing a household, and you can use local features without choosing family sharing or private backup. You can update account details, control optional features and request account deletion through account settings, or contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your information. We may ask for information needed to verify that a request concerns your account. Removing local app data does not itself delete cloud records or cancel a Google Play subscription.
